Situation

Michael Rainey had built a successful law practice covering a range of legal services, including Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR, which is primarily mediation and arbitration).  He also played a key role in the overall emergence of ADR practices.  Michael wished to narrow the focus of his practice to mediation and arbitration, and retained Linda to develop the core communication tools and comprehensive marketing plan for his practice.

 

Linda developed the brand identity for Michael Rainey Dispute Resolution Services, defining its positioning and managing the development of the logo, corporate identity and collateral materials.   She led the development of the firm’s new website, defining the site’s structure, writing all content, managing the overall look and feel and the entire design and development process.  She also created the firm’s e-newsletter template.  Linda developed the marketing strategies and comprehensive marketing plan for the firm.  She is currently managing the implementation of the marketing plan.

 

Results

Early on in the execution of the marketing plan, Michael Rainey Dispute Resolution Services is already gaining significant momentum.  As a direct result of the communications and plan Linda developed, Michael has been asked to speak in front of audiences composed of his target market and is a candidate to mediate for some highly prominent clients with significant potential case volume.
