Linda Rosenberg Marketing Consulting is committed to protecting your privacy.  Because we take this commitment seriously, we want you to understand the type of information we collect, how we use it, and how to correct or change it.  These privacy practices apply to www.lrmarketingconsulting.com, as of January 26, 2009.
 

Personally Identifiable Information

Linda Rosenberg Marketing Consulting collects personally identifiable information when it is provided to us, strictly with your permission, such as when you subscribe to our newsletter, register for one of our webinars, or purchase a Quick Advice Session.  Your personal information will never be shared, sold or rented to third parties.

Should you decide at any time to opt out of newsletter communications, you may do so by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any newsletter.  When you register for one of our webinars, please note that you are agreeing to allow the information collected to be shared with presenters.  Presenters may contact you in reference to the webinar.  Linda Rosenberg Marketing Consulting will not share any personally identifiable information with companies or individuals who are not presenting.

For Quick Advice Sessions that require payment online, PayPal is used, and all payment information is encrypted during transmission, using PayPal’s technology.  These transactions are secure, and governed by PayPal’s privacy policy.

Non-Personally Identifiable Information

When you visit our website, we collect non-personally identifiable information such as your computer's IP address, browser type, the date and time of your visit, referring website addresses and the pages you visited. We use this information to analyze trends and more closely match website content to your interests.  Tracking technology from third party providers is used to collect and store data.  This includes the use of “cookies.”  Cookies are files that are stored on your web browser.  There are many misconceptions about cookies, some of which we will try to address in this policy.  Cookies cannot erase your hard drive or otherwise damage your computer, and do not tell us an email address or any other personally identifiable information.  All information is anonymous.  Cookies are used to improve the experience web users have, and to track internet usage across websites.
